Why should I join the private Facebook group?

Our Facebook group hosts a diverse, supportive community of small business owners across Canada. We share information, strategies and resources that help in our efforts, and successes, as entrepreneurs.

Why was Wednesday Night Market created?

Small businesses provide 70% of all jobs created across Canada, and along with medium sized businesses contribute 41% of our GDP. Without our support, the owners of these businesses can’t contribute to the growth of our communities, nor the economic strength of our future generations.

The pandemic has brought many challenges to the forefront. At a time when many are dedicated to shopping locally, from Canadian based businesses, we wanted to fill some gaps. 1) Create a space to find, and shop from true, quality Canadian based brands. 2) Excite as many as possible to support, shop and refer #SmallShops to ALL their friends and family.

What services do you provide to small biz owners?

We support the Owners we work with through a variety of promotional/growth opportunities. From our Community group on FB, to marketing courses and live shopping events and spotlights, we use any, and every opportunity we can to promote your brand. To learn more, read here.

Do you feature businesses across Canada?

Absolutely! Whether you are a new brand, artisan, crafter, entertainer, retail owner, service provider, direct seller or have been in business for 10 years, we are proud to support and promote you along with the dozens of others we have worked with over the last year. As long as you are based in Canada, we want to know all about you!

Where do my donations go to?

Thank you for your support! This project started on a shoestring budget with BIG intention :) To keep costs down for each business to be listed and promoted on, and through Wednesday Night Market, we ask for your help. All donations go towards a) online advertising across the web and social media platforms, and b) providing scholarships for our marketing training academy to new and existing small shop/business Owners.
